We're Andrew and Kate, your new landlords, excited to be part of the Henley community. Originally from Essex, Andrew is a former policeman who has spent the last three years successfully running The Crown in Manningtree. Kate, with a background as Head of Admissions in private schools, later joined Andrew at The Crown, where she managed the bed and breakfast.

Our journey to Henley began when our son, Elliot, presented us with the exciting opportunity to take over The Anchor Inn. After closing the pub for four weeks to complete a full refurbishment, we're thrilled to reopen the doors and welcome you all back. We can’t wait for you to experience the new atmosphere and become part of our pub family!
